How are people joining the server now?

I'm getting the feeling that Tale Worlds won't fix the ID issue.  They said they are working on getting it so people can join their servers/games -- but they haven't mentioned anything specifically regarding Unique ID's or correcting that issue.

If its a wipe for real, I am not afraid.
If the wipe talk is just trolling and hear-say, well, that's probably what it is.

yeah, I tried to create a new character, but I get auto kick right away.  I went to the extreme and deleted Warband to have it re-install.  Will see if I still get autokick

Well, in that case I should thank everyone for the compliment. Seriously, you have every right to be frustrated and we should have resolved the issue much sooner. Unfortunately the system is designed to fall back to a backup server, and it is the normal behavior for the backup server to distribute wrong unique IDs, so it took us a while to figure out that there is actually a bug in the system...

Sorry. Game mods that do not depend on IDs seem to be working fine at the moment. The remaining issue is with the unique IDs, which is what we are working on.

I see it like Teeth already wrote somewhere...

A wipe without any changes to multiplier and leveling aaand the removal of heirlooms and I will probably simply uninstall Warband.

I can't be arsed to do all the grinding again.

if it's a wipe I propose we get back premultiplier crpg with all it's flaws and charms until melee is out.
I want to grind for hours just to get that first mail armor.

Update:  I deleted Warband along with the Mount and Blade folders in the document directory and re-install the game (Warband/Crpg) and that seem to fix the auto kick.
