Oh you NA... I guess you buy gas and then just pour some on the ground and light it on fire for fun cause it's so cheap, huh?

Japanese cars for win in my humble opinion. Yeah there's plastic but atleast it's better quality plastic than in 'murican cars these days .

Don't get me wrong I do like old 'murrican cars like Mustangs, Chevy Camaro (up until -69), Chevy Impala -67 (the Metallicar), Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Cuda etc... Just not for erryday drives with these gas prices. As a hobby definitely would love to restore some old classic car if I could afford it.

Well long enough post. Here's my wheels. Keep in mind it's 1996 Mazda 323 with 1,5 petrol engine and it gets 40mpg. Not too bad for a car that age imo and it accelerates fast enough because it weighs basically nothing .

Sure, I drive a truck. But I use that truck to haul soil, mulch, concrete, paving stones, trees, bushes and other plants, lumber, my riding lawn mower when I take it in for tune-ups, new furniture/appliances when I replace my older stuff, entire households when my friends or relatives move (mostly my kids lately), haul bicycles to various parks and trails in the 9286 square miles of the DFW area (you can't just ride to all the cool trails, especially to the various state parks within a couple of hours drive from the house), haul my canoes and tow my jet ski to the various lakes on the weekends, etc. Sure, you can do some of those things with a car, but not all of them and even those that you can do require more trips than putting it all in the bed of the truck. The German exchange student asked why Texans had trucks when she first got here. After spending a month with us and seeing all the things I haul around and do, she was like "Ahh, now I see".

Didn't exactly think about trucks when I posted... Just regular 'murrican 4 door saloons and such that are just bigger than they need to be and have usually terribad gas mileage.

Then again I really don't need that much stuff with me that I'd need a truck. Then there's this thing called a trailer that I use to move shit around at times. Just more practical for me. Not judging any truck owners. You have your preferences and maybe a bit different terrain and car culture compared to mine

I'll have a wild guess:

+1!!! I want one of those next time I'm buying a car! Definitely one of the best regular 4 door sedans I've ever driven (and I've driven quite a lot different cars while I'm home at summer time working for my relatives and moving tourist's cars around). Handles perfectly. No noticeable under steer, maybe a little tiny bit over steer but that's always manageable.

Yes it handles suprisingly well. I remember when I wasnt used to the over steer thing yet. I was used to driving my parents dieselengine Mercedes. And when I got on the wheel of my car for the first time I shat bricks. Its a pretty descent sedan yes. There is enough room for 3 people in the back and the boot is quite large to store a lot of stuff. This winter is gonna be the first winter with my car. Cant wait to see how well my skis fit in it. =3
