Don't really know what the link in the OP attempts to show. He mentions paying for a server, but he means a personal server I think. And isn't he saying that he tried to use autoblock to test if it worked still on his server after the autoblock detection was rolled out (and he got banned for it)? Only really skimmed through it. That is still a dumb reason to install a cheat but w/e and it is definately not one I would take on face value, I would still ban just for "testing" it
Correct but boring answer is that people don't cheat. People who do get an autoblock ban at some point. Guys that look like they're cheating while fighting are just experienced at the game and know what they're doing. Believe it or not if you want, but this game doesn't give you a free ride, even if you play a cheese class. Its ok to be bad at the game, you can play for years and still be bad. But the game does give you ways to be bad and still do alright just by using teamplay and stuff

http://forum.melee.org/global/autoblocker-unban-thread/I do think its probably possible to use things like wallhacks to see where enemies are, but I never really suspected anyone and with this being third person with a look key it probably won't help as much as a normal FPS game (but would still be very unfair to use)
