My two-cents - Hospitallers have been one of the best opponents all strategus, staying active and doing the hard fights like repeated city sieges that most clans avoid.  Just want to give my props to them as one of the more respectable factions out there when it comes to playing strategus.  Really glad we worked something out, much prefer attacking less respectable folk than attacking you again.  Really like how active you guys have been all strategus with the third most attacks initiated on NA side and just how determined and committed you guys have been.

For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

Huh didn't see that coming, especially didn't see Goretooth being the diplomat to post the message.  Thanks for the kind words Kesh, I've always had much respect for the FCC war machine.  Your logistical capabilities (read: multi-account  ) are top notch.  Will be glad to have a little reprieve until EU starts attacking our borders.

Delson was walking home after going to the shoemaker where he bought a new pair of boots. He really needed a new pair for his had been eaten bye his best hound. To get home he was to walk past the tavern. As he was walking by the smell of the honeydew mead drew him closer. He decided to go inside for a quick drink. The tavern was loud and busy, as it is on most nights. Delson sat down on a stool at the end of the bar so as to not be flustered by others trying to get their drinks. There was much noise and the light was dim. Though it was loud, Delson could still hear the townspeople in the table behind him talking. He started to ease drop when he found that they where talking about the war with the Hospitallers. He began to think of when they had lain siege to Ichamur. It was the most fun he had it the whole of his fighting career. He listened, closer this time, to find what they were saying about the black knights. The words he could make out where " Free Companies. War, Halted". Then, before thinking, (This could be due to the mead) he bolted out of the tavern to go speak to his King, James...

James had been seeing to the hanging of some glorious holy art depicting the sieges of Yruma and the defences of Ichamur in the Curavian halls when Delson had ridden through the gates and decried that he had news for the king. Upon seeing Delson it became evident the man had drunk near his own weight in honey ales. James expected this would be an interesting albeit possibly not so useful report from his finest scout. "Sir I've overheard tell of a non aggression pact - heard them signing it myself in an inn to the south - Hospitallers and FCC" Delson reported.

Sweet Jesus chadz! James hadn't been expecting this. A fierce opponent had been found in the Hospitallers and the graveyards that would surround Ichamur for generations filled with FCC and Hospitaller men would stand as a reminder. The battles had been awesome xp glorious. This would be a welcome relief in a time when it had seemed the realm was sinking into a world wide conflict. His men had gained a great deal of experience from the fighting several having advanced into veteran ranks through the conflict. There was no doubt many would rejoice in being able to return north to their homes.

James made a note to ensure Delson was regularly supplied with the honey ales that obviously fueled his scouting ability.

Peace is always good news. Rejoice, and props to both sides for their good-humor!  Take note, for this is how it should be done.
Deliver prosperity to your people, honor to your House, glorious victory to your men, and sorrow to your enemies.
