Gender Change

I haven't seen it explained anywhere, how to go about changing gender.

For the last 4 days I've been LVLing to LVL 15 twice just so i can change gender, followed instruction on server first time saying "Change gender BEFORE joining server" or something similar, and that's exactly what I did, and I now when I try to join a server it just keeps kicking me because I did it the wrong way, and this LVLing is getting repetative, so I was hoping anyone could help me...

Anyone got a solution for my problem?

Step 1.) Have character of gender x.

Step 2.) Get character of gender x to level 15.

Step 3.) Retire character (reset stats/level, but keep all gold and gear)

Step 4.) BEFORE you join a server the first time at you retire, edit your char, change to desired gender.

Ok thanks mr. I tried to change gender ingame on my character, and on character page(no option for it), now I'm on my third try (lvl1 atm) so where is the right place to do step 4?

For step 4, that is, after you retire, you have to change your chars gender in game (edit char) BEFORE you join a server. If you join a server after retiring WITHOUT changing the name, you are stuck with whatever gender you joined as until you can retire again.

This has always worked for me, but maybe it doesn't work in .223, I don't know.

That's what I did, but I don't think it works anymore because thats when I get the "retire and change gender BEFORE joining server" message... and I don't wanna give it a third try :V

But I'm still not 100% sure, only if someone else could confirm it.

It is possible that they've changed it with .222 and .223 stuff, maybe hopping in IRC would get you a bit more help.
