I've noticed it for a longer time now, like two weeks. Often it feels okay, but then suddenly you teamhit people behind you with stabs. Or animations don't bother to play causing you to get hit randomly. Hit detection of overheads in general is terrible, which I think can be attributed to server lag as well. If you are skeptical about the lag, try to play with a long maul. Probably due to the slow speed the delay is very noticable on overhead hits. I have had occasions where it literally took half a second after the animation hit the floor before my overhead hit suddenly connected.
I think this has always been somewhat noticable, but now I can really clearly see arrows fly past me, only for me to die a fraction later from that same arrow. Same thing the other way around. See missiles hit a target dead on and going straight through.
This is all definitely server side because I've had countless occasions where I would comment on some bullshit lag thing in teamspeak and clanmates spectating or standing close confirming that they saw the exact same thing. Wouldn't call it unplayable, but it is really getting frustrating now so perhaps try a server restart or something.
