Nothing is anyways not achievable in practice, as nothing would be an utter void, and it is simply not possible to do that other than bringing the temperature down to 0K, which the principles of thermodynamics (3rd i think, not sure) do not allow, at least not in finitely many actions.
Thus whatever nothing is, any discussion regarding it would be unappliable to reality, and it belongs a theoretical or philosophical matter. (check Parmenides and Heraclitus for some old arguments on the subject of nothing and change).
