Hi there,
CRPG is a funny mod, although i am still a noob in it. In my opinion, the game needs some african armors and horses. Take a look at this:
I am also wondering why there are donkies, but no camles in CRPG like in "Blood and Steel".
Camels were often used by bedouins, and with the expansion of Islam, the camel get the widest used mount after the horse. For CRPG i can give three versions of the camel:
1. Sumpter-camel (Something like the sumpterhorse, slow and weak)
2. War-camel (A normal camel)
3. Barbed camel (A light-armored camel, look at the middle):
Warband played in 1255, but in CRPG are also armors of the 14. and 15. century included. So why were are no fireweapons? I know many people don't like them, but don't be afraid: In medieval era they were much weaker than the ones of the 17. century. Here are some primitive weapons:
1. Pot-de-fer: It's a primitve, small cannon, that shoot's iron arrows. It should be portable, but take three slots, so you have enough place for 1 bag of arrows and a shortsword. If you want to shoot you need a good position, when you build the weapon up and then you can shoot.
The pot-de-fer was used in the early 14. century.
2. Fire lance: The firelance was the first fireweapon in the world. In fact, it's just a bamboo-stick with a pot, filled with gunpowder and little stones. The other end of the bamboo was sharpened, so it could be also used as a spear. This weapon was also used by the cavalry in the siege of Yangzhou in 1276. The range of this weapong is terrible: It's only effective if the target is closer then five metres.
3. Handgun: The first really handgun in Europe. It was used in the 14. and 15. century and wasn't that uneffective. As munition were stones used, the effective range is about 25 metres, but the accuracy is still pretty bad.
4. Wallgun: This is the heaviest type of handgun ever invented. Because of it's weight it was mostly used in sieges, so this weapon should need two slots. This weapon shot stones and later balls of lead.
