How did you come up with your Gamer Name?

I don't believe this has ever been asked, but I see a lot of unique names I've never seen in any other game here in cRPG. I myself started with the name Tank, but then changed it to Tanking, but everyone called me Tanker. Tanker sounded like I had some sort of military experience, so I changed it to Tanken and it has stuck ever since!


So, how did you come up with your name? I am foreseeing a lot of great responses here. Share!

One of my Grandfather's relatives back in Finland was named Artyom, and I started using that on a few different games until Metro 2033 came out.  Once that was out, there was no stopping the "L0l u play matro 2053 2? gewd gam" so to much dismay of the Russians I changed the O to an E.

It also seems like everybody has that other name they either still use or once used that they're completely ashamed of.  Something that they rolled with back in the days of EQ or even Counter-Strike.  Should we share those too?

I saw mine nickname on one forum,and it was so funny to me that i decided to use it here. It's not common nickname,i just saw it once.
It is Diminutive of Serbian word Mleko that mean Milk in English. I was trying to find correct word in English but i couldnt find it.
It means very,very small milk,closest word for it in English could be Milkie. yeah,it's probably ain't grammatically correct,but mine nick on Serbian is also grammatically incorrect so don't try to make any sense out of it. 
Yeah it's dumb nickname,but i like it.

I just found my name by taking a woman scandinavian name, Alga , and I added rn -> Algarn, nothing less, nothing more. And I have this name for years now.

My real name starts with a T, as a kid I wrote down Teeh as an account name. That often proved to short, so I added Sgt in front of it. Military ranks are cool when you're 12. Used that name for ages, until in cRPG I went on to make a second character and I decided to add a t and call myself Teeth. 2h felt a lot easier so I ended up only playing my Teeth character. Also got rid of the military rank at some point as my older self could no longer describe it as cool. So I ended up with Teeth.

I'm phasing Teeth out for Franzibald though, which I really like as a name. I decided to call a character Archibald once, because its such a dumb name. Then I made Franzibald, not sure where that came from. Still not entirely sure if it's an actual name or not.

Was playin C&C: Kanes wrath and found the name Kane very awesome and thought of using that. Ofcourse I didnt cause I was sure there would be assloads of Kanes. Somehow that idea progressed into "tiberium" stuff. So I figured "Tiberius" would suit me and it sounds cool. Unfortunately I was retarded back then and also added the "X", for I dunno what reason, basically ruining the whole name. I just go by "Tibe" now, cause nobody bothers to write Tiberius anymore and Tibe seems simple and alright. And I am not a C&C fan, I dunno why I got to thinking about gamer names while playing it.
