Seeing as the gold earning rate from playing is 20 times lower than the xp rate (almost 30 with max gen xp bonus). I doubt anyone would be interested in much less than a 1 gold : 5 xp ratio. Still, the only ones getting rewarded are the market sharks as they are the only ones with that kind of spare cash. I don't feel like they deserve to be rewarded at all for being a market shark.

The money gain from simply playing isn't all that considerable, ignoring the fact that it is barely any fun. The real money is in selling or trading with looms. Say you have an average multi of 2.
1000000/100 = 10000 minutes -> 166 hours to gain a million when assuming 0 upkeep.
You are better off playing in medium gear and selling loompoints.
