Reposting from the Guards' own forum for people to see.
I've got smacked on the head by this huge snowball that has had "INSPIRATION" written on it, so I sat down and put together a little song for all the Guards past, present and future. Which I now have the honor of gifting to my stalwart comrades-in-arms.

The Caravan GuardsWatch the caravans a-leavin', watch the camels on the way,
See their hooves kick up the dust clouds on horizon far away
They will bring the joy to people when they hit the city faire
Watch our eagle-headed banner in the scorching desert air.
Fires in the midnight outshine the stars,
Another long day for the caravan guards.
Watch lads tightening up the saddles, watch them polishing the swords,
Armed to teeth with all the gear they can pretty much afford
And from Rivacheg to Yalen, through the lands both far and near
Our eagle-headed banner makes the bandits fret in fear.
Finest silks, the softest velvet, spice from Halmar countryside -
Weapons, slaves and noble dresses, jewels luxuriously bright
Our ranks flood out the desert, knee to knee and man to man,
And the eagle-headed banner flies up proudly once again.
When there's a profit - we're never far
Leave all your goods to the caravan guards.
