Cavalry & Knights have always been weak, they're just annoying in Zerg rushes for example, although if I have a nice cosy hill they don't stand a chance, much like Azincourt lol.
Bulzur, I have to say that France was rather beautiful, I believe there are roughly the same amount of people living in France as there are living in Britain so most of it seemed to be small towns and massive open fields, a nice change from the "suburbs & country" areas of Britain that have a population similar to four of your towns put together lol.
The one major thing I did notice though was that there were a hell of a lot of people walking through their fields with guns and dogs hunting things, that was rather disconcerting since I didn't want them firing and missing lol.
I intend on heading back to France next year to do the same thing and improve on our "International Third Place" that we got (through sheer flukes of the fact that the rally involved noting down signs etc and making sure that you actually followed the guidebook (or how it was mistyped in the translation; "GuideBoob", i'm not even kidding you there, and we had no idea what "75cm of stacked white cardboard hung from dogs" was since we were supposed to look out for them, needless to say we saw nothing that resembled this and assumed that the affore mentioned dogs had run away. I could have sword Dog in French was "chien" so how could they mistranslate that..? Anyways...)
I did manage to get myself back to France but it wasn't because of cRPG, it was the fact that I had university the next day!
