Forum Warning Question

Hey, I was warned here on the forums for 30% and sent a warning message with only the text "Hey stop". There was no listed reason for my warning or anything pointing to a post I was reported for.

I would like to know why I received a hefty 30% warning and was not given any legitimate reason or the standard message pointing to what I was warned for.

I would appreciate it if anyone who is wondering the same thing as me or thinks I have a right to would post in the thread in hopes of attracting the moderator who warned me nearly to mute status from 10%.

An anti goblin king power bloc has formed and they have at least one forum mod in their ranks. They are trying to silence your message among the masses. They are getting nervous and fear your growing power. Its only proof that you are a threat to the regime and that your methods are working.

You have nothing to fear but the mute but your message can no longer be silenced. It is passed along in dark alleyways and posted on tarnished tavern walls with drunken men and goblins singing of war to come. You have time on your side and those against you know this as their time starts to run out.

Thus a messenger was sent to a mod among the power bloc to threaten your highness and silence your voice. They knew not what they unleashed.

I can't agree more. Moderators already managed to kill the strat diplomacy thread, casting warnings without deeper thought, or by banning biggest trolls most eloquent members of this community. As much as I can understand that going outside of "the character" is not ok, little or no room is left for any messages other than "We the mighty merciless faction declar war to you little maggots" and "on no no, u noobs". Majority of warnings were casted because of the pictures or movies that  were posted there, despithe them being sarcastic or funny commentary on the topic.

Justification for the warnings is in most cases non-existent or just states that it is contarary the forum rules. Chnage these rules, or change the way the mods act.

What comes to my mind is the old proverb "the power corrupts, and the absolute power corrupts absolutely".

Rule of thumb: When in doubt about the reason for a warning, check your recent Diplomacy posts. The rules are pesky and sometimes someone decides to enforce them.

Yeah, it was probably one of those damn rules.

No one liners, must be in character, blah blah blah.

So boring.

Go back and look at his recent posts...nothing he did should have gotten him warned once, let alone muted.  Moderators going overboard...they're like referees in basketball, they technically could call a foul on every single play that happens.  If you're going to be a nahtzee about one guys posts, you need to be consistent and mute half the forums.

Oh sorry, I was thinking this was Rubes who made the OP, not Daruvian.

I could possibly see why Daruvian got warned...but Rubes?  Why is he muted?
