The old bow models are still in the files. Look at ranged_new.brf in the folder 'resources' in your cRPG directory using the program 'OpenBRF' (google it) and you can simply rename the old models to the new names, and rename the new models to something else in order to switch back to the old models.
Well that would simplify things, i'll crack on with it and post up a finished texture folder (and resource folder).
Edit: I'll upload the brf file once changed and then you can just paste that into your folder overwriting it youself.
Progress Update: Reverted back to the old state of the bows and textures and models however I cannot find a way to get it so that the models change when they are in their carried state, so they look normal when they're out, but when you're carrying them, the string goes right through you. Those are not in the brf files as far as I can see but I shall continue to search.
I'm not going to post anything right now since I am very tired and i'm not sure if it actually is working however I do intend on making some proper textures that look like the old thing so that it is a lot simpler to change in the future if the devs decide they like the MDF style bows.
