I understand this was not appropriate from my side, but I would like to say a word in my defence:

As already mentioned, I was hiding for some archers camping a roof. I was writing to my teammates for help when I suddenly got shot (I thought the arrow had gone through the door or something).
In chat, I was explained that archerhelot keeningly snook up to me and shot me over the door. I was actually amazed by this smart move and reacted with 'lol fucking n*gger'. I knew what he meant with 'dude not cool', so I tried to laugh it away.
I meant this as a joke, in the same way as I call people 'cunts' all the time. A bad choice of words indeed, but at the time I saw no harm in it.

Apologies to anyone who felt offended. I see no problem with a short ban for this offence, as you can tell from the time I am playing this game too much anyway ;)

People are called cunts, idiots, fuckheads and whatnot day by day and usually it's to an extend that noone gives a shit (Because this is the internet overall, stop being so easily offended), but "friend" is over the line? Meh, i don't think so, as he's obviously not doing this with the intention to hurt anyone. He didn't even type it in the general chat, so the only guy who could be offended by this has no chance of actually reading it.

I'll ban no rules until midnight, but only because society wants me to do so as a law-obeying citizen.

This isn't so much a normal insult as the aforementioned ones, it's a racist comment and no matter how it is said, it is a word of hatred towards a race.

That's, on principle, intolerable and not something that we want to spout in this game. I know it's just a word but at the end of the day, the connotations that it holds are just too great.

Of course, I'm sure, that is wasn't mean to be an insult but it doesn't dull the usage and Poe's law certainly comes into play more often than not on the internet!

Anyway, the incident has been dealt with, I just wanted to clarify why it's not accepted.
