Seriously fuck strength crutchers, seems like everyone is doing it these days. It takes me 10,000 hits, 99% of which are glances, and then they fucking 2 hit me.
No sense in nonsense when the heat is hot

Strength in itself isn't bad, but strength and really heavy armor is incredibly depressing to fight against. It truly is the easy mode of melee.

My main this generation was 33-6 with 12 iron flesh and like 60 something body armor. I would still die to someone like FarmerBob or Rohypnol with a rondel and unbreakable shield in at most three hits.

Get pierce damage, nerd.

^he has a point. Str crutching makes you fat, therefore all i have to do is noob spam stab and spin and they die since they so slow. Str to agi is very balance IMO

I use a katana, what is this pierce damage you speak of? Is it some magical armor penetrating damage class that is lost on my weapon for unknown reasons? And I don't get why everyone complains about 2hnd stabs, when I stab it just glances off people even in light armor.

From what I know, you have a 21/21 build, Bob. That wouldn't be weak at all even with cut damage.

I think athletics is extremely good, a contender for best stat compared to PS. I think in general the game is a bit biased towards strength users in terms of gear use and stats and what not. You need to play a little more intelligently with an agi build, although it's not that bad since athletics gives a pretty decent advantage. I find my 15/24 with a 34 cut 1h easier than when I used 18/21 because of the better athletics.

True, but even though you do have to play more intelligently to* survive, you also are able to avoid huge confrontations and pick your fights. That really helps when getting double teamed etc

Not saying game isn't biased to str, its just agi had its benefits as well :D
