You are presenting your clan that way just fine. Can't say much for the 2nd since I've never seen you play, though.
I agree wholeheartedly with what San wrote. I feel that MadKing would like to see the image of RoR/GoW improve, but the way he tried to get his message across just negatively impacted us.
Also, some actual proper sentence structure would be appreciated when posting about current situations... It was annoying having to decipher paragraphs filled with terrible grammar/run-on sentences.
So you're telling me that because you beat Havelle, your clan is still not bad (I am not saying they are, just following your logic here)? That does not make sense in the slightest. You are using a sample size of one person from each clan to judge average skill (which is horrible).
Personally, I find aggressive trashtalking in game distasteful and, by posting this, you have effectively stooped lower than Havelle by not constraining the trashtalk between RoR/GoW and "Frisia" but have escalated it to the whole community. If you have tried to prove that your clan is "mature and respectable", your actions alone prove that is a false statement. Every action a clan member takes reflects on the group as a whole.
About skill: MadKing replied that he would gladly duel more people than just Havelle (sorry if this not correct, I have to check MadKing's reply again). Doing this would still only prove that MadKing is single handedly better than Frisia (if he won all of the duels). You
cannot represent a clan's skill by yourself. You can carry them however. Even if you are the world's greatest carry, people will still view the clan you carry as trash, because quite frankly, if you have to carry them 100% of the time then they are bad.
About trashtalk: Even if Havelle loses some (probably will not) respect (on the internet, really?) with the rest of the community, whatever happens to him will reflect back on MadKing
AND RoR/GoW tenfold, even though MadKing was the only person responsible for this. Whatever message you tried to convey on the forums about Frisia was done in a wholly immature manner, and slanders our name in one of the most horrid of ways. I wish that the community had different opinions of us, but the way this was boastfully presented (pretty much just saying "HEY LOOK! I KILLED SOME GUY IN A GAME, RESPECT ME INTERNET!") just confirms the negative opinions that the community already identifies us with. I am disgusted by this thread.
