Is it like DkS in the sense that there's no artificial difficulty ? Traps you can't really avoid the first time, die an retry sequences etc.
Every time I died, it was my fault. Mostly it was my fault, not doing the right action, and I know what I should've done.
Sometimes I would find a new enemy, and be unaware of his moveset. As a (slight) spoilerish thingie, there's a monster, a spider, which jumps in an arc. I didn't know that and died because of that. However, if I was approaching cautiously, I would've avoided that.
The only times I found it unfair (but still my fault) was because of missing some jumps by pixels, since it's a platformer game.
