So I'm stopped at a red light, jammin' out to my tunes, in my own world and no one else's. People are walking ahead of me crossing the street, as they do, when the light turns, as it does, to tell them to do so. People are pliably compliant that way. I watch as an old lady hobbles past a young tech teen not paying attention. They're racing against time in more ways than two, and there won't be a winner. In the distance I spy a jumbo jet making it's way across the horizon. The marvels of the modern age, I think to myself, as I finish all over my wheel and a little on the dash. Then I wake up and the cutest puppy ever licks my face, now I'm ready to start my day!
