Yes, I confirm this. Something with the torso hitbox is wrong. Also for clear shots to the head I often get a hit to the shoulder of the target. And with clear, I mean really clear.

Another confirmation. Happens frequently, esp. with robe-type cloth wearing targets, and recently I spent like 10 arrows on an afk at medium distance, until I finally hit him -  it was just like only his spine was hittable and the rest  hot air (he was wearing medium strange armor, if I recall it right)

And indeed many headshots turn into shoulder shots, but some shots to the body, esp. from behind, magically turn into headshots  as well...

everything said relates to close/medium range shots where I can see for sure where my arrows hit. I do not care where long range "lucky" shots hit, but at close range it would be nice if arrows actually went where I shoot at - very disappointing if you try to decorate a tincan's arse with feathers and instead he drops dead with a headshot... lol

oh, and speaking of hitboxes: something with the shooting position of the big bows is weird - on walls it is often impossible to shoot down without hopping on the wall because my arrows get stuck in the forcefield above the wall, while the guys with the tiny bows seemingly can bend over and shoot down without problems. so somehow the game assumes that the arrow position with a longbow is lower or what? makes no sense to me.

P.S.: to keep it fair, I have also seen the opposite thing happen - where my arrow clearly missed the guy and even was shown sticking in the wall besides him for a split second, then suddenly the guy drops dead because the weird hitbox calculations changed their mind... so this is not a complaint about "I want more hits", but just about "make the arrows hit, where they hit".

Hermit Status report : feeling a little social. Threatening melee my old friends with a comeback. Greasing the string of his old longbow. Carving certain names into the tips of his arrows...

I think it has something to do with projectile speed. And possibly latency. Are you all using longbows or warbows?

Its all projectiles. But i dunno about Throwing stuff.

After alot of hassle. I were able to drag Okin, and some developer onto the duel server.
The bug didnt seem to appear very often. But at least they seen it is bugged, after 5 minutes of testing.

The arrow fly thru appears to happen alot often, when the server is crowded and is experiencing server side lag.

Anyways, lets hope they start taking this more serious, as more people complain about this now. At least serious enough... to not ridicule it as bad trolling.

http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,5291.105.html

The point blank shoot through people thing might have something to do with the flatter trajectory fo arrows with recent patch.  Possibly an issue with warband where if you hit certain parts of the armor at a flat, horizontal angle rather than a sloped angle (trajectory fire) its easier to slip through the mesh without registering in the hitbox.  Angles provide more area hit in the body both entering/leaving so more room for hitbox to register at some point whereas flat trajectory is exactly 1 point going in and out.  And yes I tested it out with clanmate and shooting from a farther distance seemed to help.

Seems like the newest armor implements triggers the bug ALOT more often. The Kuyak armors especially. I think Keshian has a point here.

Didnt heavily test any of the other armors, except for the Kuyak one.

Maybe someone else can test the other new armors? I dont realy feel like bug testing myself anymore.

Also seen were arrows not even near people, hit them in the head.

I've noticed this a lot recently. Several times I've seen arrows go straight through a stationary guy who is very close to me. It does seem to be worse on more populated servers.
