Hit and push by a shield button

being a shielder i often use this awesome feature. but my fingers are too short (dont laugh, not cause of age )
i wanr to change this option from 'V' button to 'R'(i never use first person view), i think R button is the best for it. but there is no any option fo V button in controls, so i cant change them
could smone help me and say what to do, and how could i change this?

Yes, it is not possible currently. You aren't the only person who wishes they could change it - but right now you can't.

You can try using Autohotkey to remap it but I think Warband gives it some problems.

This actually works. Using that will rebind left control to v.

high end keyboards sometimes have their own hotkeysoftware where you could make a profile for when you play warband and switch v and r arround,  its your last hope.  example: http://www.everythingusb.com/logitech-g510-gaming-keyboard-19719.html

or most high end gaming mice for that part, where you could link one of the extra mouse buttons to act as V

That's the program that Paul is talking about, create a new macro & just copy-paste the code that was previously written out, save it & run it, then you're away.

I must say, these new nudges and shield bash are great defensive moves. They don't stun fuck you too much but they also giveyou some space

you might be able to re-type your controls in a text file, maybe in your module folder.
like a file that has all the controls listed:

For Example:

Move Forward = W
Jump = Space
and so on...

i have remapped the thumb button of my mouse. works quite well, but somethimes a get a "what?" message, not sure why but this happens with the v key on my keyboard, too.
