If I enjoyed playing Borderlands 2 with a friend, will I enjoy this?

I would say yes. It's just a lot more realistic and darker than borderlands. The firefights are very fun tho and the PVP is superb.

My biggest issue atm is actually that I don't have a group of people who play with me...
...and playing with crpg folks was fun in GTA 5 but didn't last very long.

Molly, get to level 15 and you can play with me. I pretty much only play in the dark zone anyway, so I'm easy to catch up with in level

What was bad about the cRPG GTA:O group is that I was just about the only one interested in activities, virtually the only kind of fun stuff you can do that is fun for more than 10 minutes. Most of everybody else was more interested in blowing up cars and whatnot.

That aside, I might pick up the Division if I'm bored. Tough chance though, I've been playing Rocket League with my RL pals mostly, and that one shows no sign of slowing down.

interface is very good once you get used to it, played the beta and its about minmaxing and headshots
I got a decent AK early on and almost everyone died when I shot half my magazine in their head, if I ran out of bullets I would just rush them and headshot them with a shotgun ez strats

Outside is just PvE, yes. I personally don't like the PvE part, it's fun with buddies, but the real treasure of the game is the dark zone.

I would say it's equal levels skill and stats. For example I can't really kill someone on level 30 when I'm on level 15, but I had no problem killing someone on level 19, because I used my abilities and the cover better.

I can only recommend this game, it's pretty much DayZ without zombies and with the trouble of bandits handled correctly. The interface is also not cluttered at all, it's very easy to see what's what.

i agree with most of his arguments , maybe not with the high end gear drop rate nerf.

He goes too hard on the dark zone, it's not as bad as he describes it. Me and Crojo are having lots of fun killing other players and being the targets of a manhunt

Apparently going rogue (being a player killer) has severe penalties when you die, so a lot of people prefer to just carebear and have dark zone just as another PvE zone.

I don't know I kept reading about this game the past few days and I'm not convinced, not for this price. Apparently the game gets repetitive fast, you fight the same enemies all the time.
