Fly episode was the best in the whole series. The whole part where he was catching the fly alone was the best part in television history. Period.

No, it was stupid. Period. As stupid as Walt suddenly turned to be when falling for the trap. As stupid as Hank going out there in the desert without any backup but Gomez where he could be easily ambushed himself. Also as stupid as the chocolate chip cookies suddenly are with guns. I mean they won a previous shotout against the other meth makers within seconds. And now they are as precise as stromtroopers. Also Todd. Shot the kid like a pro before and now he forgot how to aim with a handgun. I don't get it.

This series is just dreadfully addictive like meth itself. What really bothers me is the fact how I keep watching the long scenes where technically nothing happens. Just like a lot of walking, getting dressed etc and im not fast forwarding. Like what the hell? Did I suddenly became a boring person or did I just get seriuslly hooked. I litterally watch scenes where nothing goes on for a long period of time.

It's because stuff is happening. There's character development, revelation, and most of all, tension in those scenes. Like a Nicholas Winding-Refn film. Hell, there's an entire series that seems to be made from nothing but those scenes, and yet, it's got a powerful draw.

The only thing the makers seem to care about is character development. How they get there doesn't look like a priority, I guess.

You are right, the shootout is silly. Hank and Gomez would have died longtime untill they finally reached cover.
But I think this is just to contribute to hollywoodstile dramaturgie. Everything needs more bullets and extended luck to reach the standard most movieconsumers got used to during the last 10-20 years.
For me the cliffhanger would have been better if they blacked out after the first shot.

It seems a little odd that Walt would have fallen for that trick, given that he went out of his way to make sure he was the only one who knew the location of the cash.

The justification was that he may have thought Hank put a GPS tracker on his truck. However, given that Walt knows that Hank has done that in the past, he almost certainly would have checked the truck over.

I enjoyed this episode soooo much , loved how Walt & Jesse made their personal peace.

I was surprised about Flynn replacing the dad's work cooking meth for the chocolate chip cookies.

Skyler sadly died from that unfortunate incident at the car wash (ahah i laughed soo much when the driver smashed the glasses and flattened the woman behind it) , but who cares...

Brock is growing up eating cereals and it's good.

Was shocked about Saul Goodman pregnancy but hey everyone do their choices in life.

In other words ....EXCELLENT EPISODE

Now pinkman is in the shitter. The kooks are gonna imprison walter and force pinkman to cook meth for the rest of his short life... until the police department/fbi put 2 and 2 together and storm the kooks home base and kill everyone and the series ends.

Walters not gonna die, at least not til final episode or second to last... But if they killed walter, hank, and gomez... nobody but pinkman would know the general whereabouts of the 7 barrels full of cash. 

The shootout was kind of silly, especially since gomez and some of the kooks were unloading shotguns and apparently not hitting anything. Except for Gomez who looked like he got hit... But still I can get over that, there aren't as many "realistic" shootouts in movies and shows as people tend to believe there are.

I wonder if pinkman will
a. get captured by the kooks
b. sneak off into the desert
or
c. drive the hell out of their with white's car?

Best part about this episode: Hank's wife, Marie, is going to suffer at the loss, kidnapping or further injury of Hank... Which is good, cuz I hate that bitch. I hate Skyler too...
I think the moral of this entire series is to never get married because your woman will turn into an obnoxious, nosy, old hag.

I wonder how long Hule is gonna stick around in that motel room... lol  poor Hule.

hank gets shot on the phone talking to his wife, after he said I love you. But I guess they needed that cliffhanger of him still being alive. Pretty sure he dies though. In general, I'm surprised that they are not killing off people during the season (Jesse, Hank, wifes, whoever), considering it's the last one anyway.

BB was never about realism. I mean have a look at the season with the airplane crash. It looks like the BB universe is driven by some kind of fate. Plausibility is not really needed for the series to work.

There was no way they could just snipe him out of nowhere, the scene with the neo-chocolate chip cookies driving up was necessary to build tension. However, I was already expecting them to show up at some point before he got on the phone with Marie, and during that conversation I became totally convinced. As soon as it cut to Walt and the music started playing, I just thought: "Here we go."

I really don't know how this could possibly be survivable for Hank, but you never know with this show. However, I feel pretty sure that Gomez is going to die, and Jesse is going to make it.
