In the "Battle" section of the wse2 menu, what is the "damage to player" and "damage to friends" settings? i thought damage was handled the same for everyone, and ive only just began using wse2 so i dont really know what these 2 commands do

Just parts of mount & blade (for single player native) which aren't active on cRPG (or any multi-player)

About 90% of the options on the battle tab are not used in cRPG.

On WSE1 there is a very basic options menu.

Things such as "Damage to Player" are under the General tab.

WSE2 has improved the layout by adding more tabs/options/settings.

What was general is now listed as battle (the sound settings have been moved from general/battle to sound) and a few more options added

One more thing; in wse2, ive noticed theres quite a lot of light reflections compared to wse1, such as off of weapons or helmets, is there any way to tone this down or turn it off? ive tried all the commands i thought it could be, such as sun flare, auto-exposure, dynamic lightning, but none of them worked.

Turn HDR-mode to "low" setting maybe?

HDR mode can go to far keep it at low or turn it off. Also dynamic lighting may do it, turn it off, besides it makes the game actually look worse.
