And go (just wondering which one I should pick up and play again).

Didn't really like either that much the first time through.  Played 100's of hours of Fallout 3 and Oblivion, but was hard for me to get into New Vegas and and Skyrim (before modding, after modding I started liking Skyrim a lot more, haven't tried modding New Vegas)

New Vegas is complete shit imo. Maybe I didn't give it enough time ( even though I played through the whole game ) but it just had so many bugs and it was boring. Fallout 3 was a much better game, and I think the graphics were better too. ( were they? )

Skyrim hands down is better. However be warned the quest aren't nearly as long as oblivion's but they are still pretty good. I might have overhyped this game because I don't like it very much now. I could never get into exploring the world since every two minutes a dragon fucking appears. It still offers a lot though, especially with mods.

Just my opinions.

New Vegas, because it has a way better story than Fallout 3.

Skyrim on the other hand, well it was quite interesting at the beginning, but after a while it was pretty boring.

New Vegas might've been buggy at first, I don't know, I've only played the fully patched last version, but the story, the lack of linearity, the unique handplaces weaponry, the lack of serious levelscaling (most retarded shit ever), and the ability to make worthwhile choices alone make the game stand miles above skyrim
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

New Vegas, easily. Skyrim is rubbish, New Vegas is at least ok.
Don't.

Really liked Fallout 3 but New Vegas wasn't my cup of tea. Dunno why really but never got into it.

I like Skyrim better than Oblivion but it's soooo long during some quests... Enjoyable but room for improvement.

Medieval > Post-apocalyptic.

The individual games however, that's a hard choice. I'd still choose skyrim over new vegas just because of all the content mods.

Why no option 'both are popamole shit, who cares'?
Mods compatible with cRPG. New crosshairs, textures, sounds, yay.

New vegas by far, the combat is actually sort of difficult at times, while in skyrim it is so stale and boring. New vegas also has an interesting setting etc.

Why no option 'both are popamole shit, who cares'?

Always so negative.

One has to be negative when given a choice between smallpox and leprosy.

And I'm not always negative, for example new Torment might be good. Perhaps it will even make up for the years of Dragon Ages, Skyrims and general retardation of the genre.
Mods compatible with cRPG. New crosshairs, textures, sounds, yay.

Skyrim, I played New Vegas on Xbox and loved it, no DLC's tho, later I grabbed it on Steam and goddamn DLC's actually killed it for me, really exausting.

Skyrim also played vanilla, we'll see once I cop Dawnguard etc..
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

Bought Dawnguard the other day. Got pissed off the second I couldn't kill a Vampire NPC carrying an Elder Scroll in the 2nd quest of the DLC. I was forced to escort her to a vampire castle of doom instead and hand deliver an Elder Scroll to the most powerful vampires in Skyrim, while they were having a dinner party(no need to say what the food was).

Irony being that the in the 1st quest I joined a vampire hunter order. When I got back, my vampire hunter boss was mad at me for hand delivering the scroll to the vampires, but what else was I supposed to do. Either deliver the scroll, or spend an infinity hitting the vampire to keep her from moving anywhere(bloody NPC immortality) or just not do anything and thereby cause a timeloop to form where the vampires suffer from eternal inaction.

One of the few situations in a video game where the only winning move is not to play.

New Vegas all the way. So much content in that, even without modding. And the combat was great.

Skyrim seemed fucking awesome the first few days I played. Then I realized how incredibly shallow it is compared to Oblivion, and the combat is pure shit. The only way I could remotely enjoy myself was using archery to avoid said terrible combat, once I maxed that skill tree I lost the motivation to keep going, sad really. So much potential. Tried to mod it a few months back to see if I could make it better, still couldn't get into it like I did with New Vegas or Oblivion, quite disappointing.
I'm rock, nerf paper, scissors is fine. Welcome to c-RPG.
