Just....stop. Leave archery alone. Leave xbows alone.

You're complaining your bow and arrow (which you can shoot what, 5 or 6 or 7 times for every time an arbalest reloads) is only doing 1/3rd of the damage, or 1/2 or 3/4 of the damage as a bolt/quarrel to the head?  Get some more power draw if you want to deal more damage.  I'd be pissed if I was wearing a heavy helmet and was 1 shot killed any time I was hit in the head by an arrow.  You likely have a lot less HP than the crossbowman and he probably has a lot more armor than you.

Yes, I totally feel sympathy for you...

We have to draw the bow, stand still and then aim before getting shot or run over by cav. You're saying arbalest reload time justifies the damage? I went xbow for 1 gen 15/24.....my crosshairs stood still and it was so fucking easy to kill anyone with no skill. Also, higher PD then 6 is completely inaccurate at far ranges and also useless at lower levels since PD damage is based on your bows difficulty as well. So only slow easy to target rus bow and longbows are viable for these builds and when drawing, the recoil spreads so quickly that you have to shoot right away.

This was honestly a joke, although some didn't think it was it seems. IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, RANGED SCORE SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE REWORKED TO MAKE IT FAIR FOR ALL TO GET A CHANCE AT VALOUR WITHOUT BEING A FUCKING ALLSTAR ARCHER EVERY ROUND. RAOR!

Of course I did. I get valour a decent amount of times when I top the scoreboards. However, if you want to improve your chance of getting valour as an archer, go kill one peasant with a melee weapon. It seems to double your chance.

"Peasant" is a relative term. It applies to everyone who dies to me in melee

I'd say that people surviving head shots more is down to Strat XP and increased retirement rewards at higher levels.

Before Strat 3, level 31 and over chars were fairly rare and the average level of players on our rosters was probably around 30.  Now the average level of players on our rosters is getting close to 32.

For your info, loomed archers didn't get no buff only unloomed. If you count 2-3 accuracy as a buff you don't know anything about archery.
So fucking oblivious. It's to be expected I guess, devs don't really like min/maxers so they don't like releasing all the intricacies. But no, you're so wrong it's clear to me that you can't possibly have ever done any accuracy tests that might make you at least somewhat credible on this subject.

If accuracy increase could be translated into how many wpf points they are worth, it would be easier for people to understand. Weapon speed is ~12 wpf, ~15 if you account for points lost from armor. Even if an accuracy point is worth 6 or 7 each points of wpf, that's almost 2 extra WM. Even 4-5 would mean 1 extra WM
