This was discussed a while back, I'm curious to see if it will ever be coming.  :?:
For while the fire in the heart of a single Remnant still burns... can Stratia truly have fallen?

erm Im not sure, I love rome/Greek armors cose they are just awesome but I think that ppl running in them would cause cRPG  look mixed and messed up. I mean, u see a medival guy with an xbow shooting a samurai which was fighting a roman legionare over a dead  greek hoplite, and in backround a ninja that fails at hiding. I would say, stick to medival era.

I would love to have these armors

I fail to see how the time difference is a problem considering that we already have armor styles spanning over 500 years, weapons from different time periods, in addition to armors and weapons from asia

to the OP: I can hardly see how this would skew your view of cRPG.

We currently have arabians, european knights, ninjas, turks, nords/saxons, mongols, and samurais fighting side by side

There is nothing more immersion breaking than having to fight a samurai wielding a great long axe and a crossbow
so instead of more samurai crap next patch can we have some ancient european crap?

I already hate the oriental armors breaking the generally rather european/not that far eastern atmosphere of cRPG and Mount & Blade in general. Roman/Greek armor would probably stick out even more.

We already see russian berserkers running about, samurai with shields, ninjas with greatswords, and knights with longbows. Why not add just a little more into the mix?

well yeah, samurai with great sword or morning star looks awfull but this is rather rare to see that, usually people go for full samurai, full russian, full arab and so on. The point is that all current armors and weapons fit in medival era, some are from early medival and some from late but still from medival and they all look medival. Samurais are different story, however they belong to medival age as well as great sword or gothic plates. As u see all  stuff that is in cRPG comes from different parts of the world but from the same age while u want to bring back stuff from totally different one. And besides I think that Greek armor and legionary armor are just to flashy.

I think this would be awesome, the more the merrier :D
this would also give the roman and greek based clans some actual toys to play with.

I also think we need some PIRATE gear to counter the ninja & samurai as has been said many times before me xD
