Wow, I must try out this one.

If it works out well, I think I found the ultimate alternative to junk food. I only need something to snack and snack on anyway, I don't really mind if it's an apple one lol.

I love eating and I also like to eat a lot of snacks betweeen meals, thats the main reason why I'm going to the gym. I dont wanna get fat and I dont wanna stop eating, its a good tradeoff. I also tried some of these healthy snacks for some time but meh... nothing like popcorn, crisps and similar stuff. I also like carrots and stuff but its just not the same. If you're used to driving a muscle car and then switch to a weak one you are still driving a car but its just not the same.

Been hitting the Gym for a week and a bit now and also on a low carb diet, i can already see the difference im currently 185cm at 90kg. Sticking to a routine is important for me, makes missing those bad habits even easier

The only thing that sucks is the beginning. After you get into a routine it goes smoothly from there.


First thing i hated in the beginning was counting protein, carbs, fats, calories etc...

@ NoRules : 2300 k/cal at this height and this weight....how often do you work out?

1 once week? (If this is you it doesnt look like it)

Even for that this sounds like faiiiirly low intake. I am supposed to get nearly 3000......

Also I am not a friend of low carb diets (under most circumstances)

Body types and current weight dont matter for the possible outcome. True.
But they freaking matter for your training....and eating. A LOT.

Other then that...good threat. These food and shopping basics are somewhat pretty ok...:-)

But most importantly...stay freaking clean.

Basically what i am doing, i also do not feel tired or Hungry, its about getting use to it, and i guess people can work off different amounts of energy, i have a desk job so i think that amount of calories would be good for me as i don't use it until the end of the day and then when i ahve done my workout i go home have dinner, play a bit of c-rpg and then go to bed.

There is nothing wrong with low calorie intake.

Learn to love peppers. I keep some whole cayenne and habanero in a jar of white vinegar. Jalapeno's are good for some people, but I'm not as crazy about the taste of those. Banana peppers are a good choice too. They satisfy and will certainly live up to your muscle car expectations. Eat them by themselves or make some good strong salsa. That way you only eat a few chips like you should and not the whole bag like you can with some girly man salsa's. Personally I don't need the chips, I like the salsa by itself. When we sit down at a mexican restaurant and they bring chips and salsa over before the waitress shows up with drinks, I will drink the salsa when I'm thirsty until she brings the tea.
