In siege with with lvl 30 crossbowman defending, 10:1, attacking 'bout half. In battle 'bout 3:1.

1h Cav since I don't play my 2h alt anymore. All my other alts are too low level, except the pikeman guy. As I supposed, pike isn't really great for stacking my owns kills :

But I probably do double that number of assists and many many cav dehorsing/killing, so in the end it's better for the team and I will continue to play this char.

15/24 polearm user or strength shielder seems to do the trick for my k/d, though I don't play those anymore.

it really depends....like on what character im grooving on at the time...

sometimes ill play slippery alot and have great k/d and hes a 2h str build

sometimes ill play my archer for a while and get good k/d

problem is i have so many alts that unless i play the same guy for couple days in a row i get all jumblebrained and forget the little things that keep that specific char alive...

at the moment i have been playing mostly on cheesecake who is cav.  even then its a crap shoot, sometimes ill go 15 and 0 and sometimes 0 and 5

i guess what im trying to say is, its not the character that affects my k/d its my mindstate and how connected i am with that char at the time.

i mainly have this problem due to massive amounts of alts compared to say people who have one or two characters and are locked into their style.

for example: goretooth, like it or not he KNOWS how to play his build, with his weps armor and so forth so he could probably do it in his sleep.

Memnon (gen 2 2hander) and Hector (gen 1 polearm) are both level 28.

Guess what, I have the worst kill death ratio with Penthesileia.

I dont understand how and why people dare to say 1hshield was easy mode.

The point is that shield is easymode to begin but to really be good you have to train a lot.

2h is good but my best map kds I got when I was cav+lance. Talking about 40/7 on 8 rounds

I would say KD for me is very map/class specific. Large maps with a lot of open areas and few cover is definatly prime stomping grounds for cav.

Siege is missle weapons

City or small restrictive maps melee.

Although best overall is Lancer Cav. Getting couched by some dude riding a champion courser = insta death no matter who you are.
