Few questions:

Did you abuse pole stagger when it was active?

Would you still abuse it today if it was active?

Since the answer to both is yes, what makes you better than them?

There is a big difference when it comes to pole stagger, it wasnt a weapon animation , it was an extra addition to the class.

And to be honest, when a big axe hits you, it`s only natural that you would be stunned for a while, let alone that polestagger got removed because of the butthurt tears of 2handers.

All I wan`t is polearm class to have equal chances against 2h class, either that be battle or duel, at least have the guts to admit that 2handers are better in duels, not because of their skill, but because of the utterly broken class of theirs.

Only problem i find with 2handers over polearms is the animations are 10x better on 2h, but these things cant be fixed so there's no point complaining

You still didn't answer my question.

Also the big mistake you make is trying to compare and equal 2h and polearm classes.

Yes I would use it as much as possible, but as I told you already, the polestagger, was an adition, not a broken mechanic, there is a big difference.

I`m not trying to equal those two classes when it comes to their stats, but equal them on the battlefield, where things like using your brain, your positioning and your footwork, should be used more than a ghostranged stab.

But you use a fucking huge axe with 140 length, 45cut base damage, it breaks shields, stops horses dead and is not unbalanced! I'd say you've got allot going on for you.

How do you expect to be on level dueling terms as a 1.5 kilo perfectly balanced sword is beyond me...

How a big fucking axe with 140 length gets outranged by a lolstab is beyond me

2h Great Swords have the same damage with polearms
2h swords can outrange a swing of almost all polearms
Polearms are slower
Polearms are heavier, thus suffer more WPF penalty
Polearms require more str, which means less agility, while on the other hand 2h swords get a huge damage from speed bonus

BTW, you are getting raped by archers, xbows, HA´s, and heavy 1h cavs every single round on EU1.

Polearmers (without shield) and 2handers should unite and fight this scum, not argue with each other

To be honest I rage more when I get killed by a 2h hero just because he backpedal and his ghoststab killed me, rather when an archer does.

KingBread

2h Great Swords have the same damage with polearms - No they don't
2h swords can outrange a swing of almost all polearms - No they can't
Polearms are slower - yes because they are:- heavier, thus suffer more WPF penalty as they should
Polearms require more str, which means less agility, while on the other hand 2h swords get a huge damage from speed bonus - and again do you think you require same strength for a huge ass axe or a balanced 2h sword. Mind you Claymore was around 2, 2.5 kilos max which is not that much compared to big Poleaxes and such so yes, the should be havier, slower and deal greater damage which they do, they also break shields and stop horses.

I ask you again how is a Bardiche supposed to handle the same way as Longsword?
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works
