Very large insectoids do give me the creeps, I'm not an easily scared guy and I have no problem with any spiders or anything I encounter in daily life, but I would probably not enjoy having that 15 cm monster in the first picture on my hand like that.

Only insects I truly hate are mosquitos and horseflies. I am fine with mosquitos needing some of my blood and the bites are not so bad either, but that fucking buzzing noise when I try to sleep, urgh. Horseflies are a fucking pest whenever I go swimming in the summer, always trying to bite you. They suck at it though, they have never actually fully bitten me because it is a slow bite which gives you enough time to reflex swat them when you feel the first pain. I would not mind if someone managed to eradicate these two species.

Reason I don't believe in Evolution. I don't think more than 10 have stung me in the last 5 years. But that's only because they always always go for my ear and take their precious time hovering directly above it until I get mad and kill all I can find.
While in older times it was necessary for people to believe in Science to explain lightning and comfort them, evidence such as this clearly indicates this universe was engineered by Eldritch Abominations to torment me.

I fucking hate mosquitos and flys, dirty beasts! i heard that something like 10-15 years ago there were almost no mosquitos in my city,  then i dunno what happened, i blame Radament, he probably brought those nasty insectoids here.

Generally i let spiders live, if they build a web on my ceiling i guess it's because they can catch some insects, so they can maybe help a bit to keep my house mosquitos/flys free in summer. Moreover, i have never been bitten by spiders, well except once, but that's because i accidentally broke a spider's web with my hand/arm while i was riding a motorbike, probably because i was riding too close to the right border of the road.
I remember i felt a bit of pain and itch, like a sting or something, so i stopped my mbike and i saw a spider on my hand ( which i immediatlty removed).  Shortly after the bite "wound" become like some sort of bubble, which i pierced/scratched and some white-ish liquid came out of it, i guess it was the spider's "poison" or a reaction to it.

I also let scorpions live (the few times i found one of them in my house), i killed 'em when i was too lazy to put 'em back into my garden, scorpions  probably eat only nasty insectoids and they don't sting/bite humans unless you try to catch 'em with your hands or you accidentally step on one of 'em barefooted.
 
Here's a scorpion i "captured" 4-5 years ago, i took a couple of pictures and  then i realesed it back into my garden.  I  put a piece of ham in a box to see if the scorpions would eat it, but  the arachnid was not interested  .

Though, to be honest, large insects don't bother me. I love moths and i'd be all over that giant cricket/grasshopper thing, it's a shame they only grow to about 10cm long over here

Though, to be honest, large insects don't bother me. I love moths and i'd be all over that giant cricket/grasshopper thing, it's a shame they only grow to about 10cm long over here

In addition, an introduced colony of scorpions in southern England has been known since the 18th. century. Scorpion findings have also been reported from Germany, Holland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden, but no data indicate that these countries host permanent populations (as England does). These scorpions have probably been accidental stowaways"

When i tell to people from my same city that i have found some scorpions around my house in the past they are like, "wtf scorpions?!in your house? here in this city?" They are pretty rare but you can find them.   My garden is full of rocks(grass too)  and there's a lot of humidity, so maybe that's why here there are still a bunch of scorpions, afaik scorpions can be found pretty muhch anywhere in the alpine arc, of course not at high altitudes, there ain't even trees at high altitudes.

Obviously Euro scorpions aren't dangerous for humans( my brother accidentally stepped on one once and got stung),  unless you are allergic or something, there are people that can have an anaphylactic shock just for a bee sting.

The only things that terrify me form the animal kingdom are these satanic bloodsuckers straight from hell! They fly uncontrollably around your head, just an inch from poked eye or a byte to the face. I can't come to trems with these fuckers. I shall join your fight if you join mine Brothers!

My wife always sends me into battle against the ones with stingers. My cats take out all other comers. Since I do have animals, I don't like to spray insecticide around the house, and I also don't like to smash heavy things against my windows. A fly swatter against a heavily armored wasp is a joke! So if I can't get them on a wall where I can use the bottom of a slap (shoe,flip flop, sandal as some may call it), and am forced to remove them from a window, I move in and quickly grasp them with thumb and forefinger and crush them to death as fast as I can. Sometimes I get away with it, sometimes I get stung. But really, it doesn't hurt much and within a couple minutes you get that lovely adrenaline/endorphine rush mixed in along with the small speedy kick from the venom. I'm certain that some of the players from those druggie threads would enjoy it. So man up and go into battle mono y insecto, either way you are rewarded with a kill, or a unique buzzzz

Essentially these little fuckers are becoming a giant invasive species, overcoming fire ants even. Not only will they take over outdoors as the dominant ant species, they will invade your fucking homes!. Apparently they like to crawl inside of electronics and appliances and eat your shit, tv's and computers included. If they take my precious internet away from me I dont know what I would do. THEY KNOW MY WEAKNESS!

When i was a kid, i used to set fire to all sorts of stuff. Parents were afraid to leave me alone at home. I was experimenting with different flammable liquids, burned a variety of plastics, created mutant soldiers out of heated action figures and such. Burned my hand once, hard enough to get it bandaged up to my elbow, but i didn't learn my lesson that time.
What made me quit playing with fire, was that time when i took an expensive pan, and used it as a stage for burning heretics. I made a set of human-like figurines out of stiff electric wires, placed them on the pan in the middle of our living room, read their sentence, covered them with some sort of highly flammable stuff, and PUF - they went up in flames! The main issue with that little project was that the pan got heated in the process so much, that it not only got irreversibly damaged on surface, but also burned a round brown circle on the wooden floor My parents got really upset, and i felt terrible because of it... I think my mom was crying a lot that day, though i don't really recall it that well.
But yeah, fire is fun! I would make a good arsonist... Three things in life you can watch forever: burning fire, running water, and living organisms having sex.

When I find a wayward moth, especially a large one, in my house I let him out. Silly guy just wants to find a lady and make eggs 

House spiders get scooted off to a corner where we won't bother each other. Outdoor spiders get tossed out the door.

Mosquitoes, fruit flies, mealworm moths, and wasps get the death penalty. If they are going to actively lower the quality of my life I feel justified in smashing them. I still feel bad about doing it, though.

I live in a fairly cool temperate area so we don't get many large arthropods. I did find this guy in the deep woods a few years ago though:

Walking stick bugs too, but I didn't get pictures of that guy. He was real friendly too.
