Accurate throwing build?

Has anyone been able to make one? I retired my thrower because after the patch it was too inaccurate. I just increased my proficiency by about 20 points and didn't see a noticeable affect on accuracy with war darts or even daggers! Is it possible to make an accurate throwing build or am i just wasting my time.

Also my current build which has considerably more than the required 14 prof per PT doesnt appear to be anymore accurate that the build i had before retiring which got the message in the corner.
Thoughts?

To my knowledge there is no such thing as a truly accurate thrower, i.e the reticule will never be that accurate unless you are using one of the small weaker throwing weapons, even then that's when you're moving it's not anything amazing.

Nobody can build a thrower and enjoy it after the last patch, even if u do excessive testing you won't really have as much fun or accuracy like we did before

Yeah, thats what i've been finding.

The patch nerfed throwers way to far, kinda like revenge for the "favorable" position we were in before. The problem is that in a game with multiple characters, it doesn't really punish the throwers or put them at a disadvantage to make up for before. Everyone just changes to a different class and throwers are pretty much removed from the game. I'm hoping chadz realizes this soon enough and buffs their accuracy or something so that they can at least be played as again.

One thing is that they are becoming less used in cRPG, but throwers were barely used at all in the previous strategus. When the new strategus comes, will we ever see throwers used at all?

took me 2 master work throwing lances to kill a bow men in leather.... i reloomed as a bow men because throwing is 100% crap, 
each stack takes 2 slots....and they were nerffed in damg by alot. a master work lance was the same as a nomal lance befor patch -.-
AND you cant pick it up if you wear more then 12lb worth of gear.... the aim is still just as bad and you are forced to wear light to no gear.... you have to have high pt to even do damg and at 10pt it takes 2 lances to kill a bowmen or pony... then your left with nothing.... Ya you can throw jarids but at 9pt it takes 3 jarids to kill 1 man..... ya am not joking it takes the whole stake to kill a man...so good luck and dont miss
Throwing is crap in every way.... i was once voted best thrower in this game and even i cant stand what they did to it, i re-gened and did throwing again, i still toped the score bord but it wasnt fun at all, to do well i had to NOT THROW... i had to just relay on my 9ps and not my 9pt..... soon i was thinking why i even had pt....
alot of the time i would throw both lances into a pony and cry as it ran away with my 26,000$ worth of lances with him -.-

ups about throwing in new patch
war darts! 3xloomed wardart own at 9pt, they do like 30p damg and are so easy to throw, if you bring nothing but war darts you end up with 28 darts and you only need 3-4 to kill most people, they have a high rate of fire as well
can pwn 2 handers all day every day... just dont miss or your toast
.....that is it, there is nothing ells that is ok or good about throwing

bad side to throwing
cant wear gear if you want to throw lances, need high wpf yet cant get it if you still want the throwing item to hurt....
at 9pt (27str) it takes a whole stack to kill a man, so you have to be way better then me and not miss 1 shot
all mid to high throwing takes 2 slots
damg nerff on all throwing weapons! even rocks where nerffed? ROCK WHERE NERFFED!
Sheilds will reck your shit.... any sheild pwns lances,jarids,axes....
cav recks throwing hard now... damg nerff and ammo nerff make throwing at cav a hard fight...
bowmen reck throwing, good luck killing that bowmen with ur weak ass jarids, dont miss...

***To any other thrower who wants to try throwing i say dont, it isnt worth it at all... it will even be more worthless once strat is back up....
try xbow, it has all the power of throwing with no down side, heck since it has better aim then lances you dont need wpf in it lol, might want some to reload faster tho.... or just use the master work light xbow... great 68p and you can spam all wpf into a 2hander or pol-arm

That's pebble_pusher's doing. He was doing too well with throwing rocks.
Yesterday we were fooling around, he has 13 PT and I have 11 PT. We were both carrying war darts.
Guys in heraldic mail took 4-5 hits before they went down.
The only reason we were a bit succesfull was because we were in a pair. But still we never really got any higher than a 1:1 kd ratio.

It's just a fun class now. Not something you want to play if you want to compete with other ranged classes.
It might change in the future, so I'm not going to retire.

The problem is even if you are number 1 in NA you are still only number 467 in EU or the worst in AUS(number 17)

Dedicated throwing shouldn't exists. Think about archery for example if it could only be used in close range combat. To be a dedicated archer you'd have to do so much damage to where you could 2 shot people, that's obnoxious and completely unjustifiably easy. Throwing should be used with hybrids to weaken your opponents just before you get into melee with them, effectively giving you a 1 hit lead on them before even getting into melee.

I used to be a thrower too, depending on situation with 6 or 4 throwing lances or 21 balanced wardarts. This was incredible fun and the only guys able to fight for the top position in the scoreboard where always running archerprincesses or melee-only builds.

The swordfood was of course crying for a nerf, thinking throwing was simple. It wasnt. Good rounds consisted of ca. 3 kills with throwing weapons and 6 kills in melee.

Our days of throwing are indeed over.

Worst: Throwing with shield was reduced to the war dart set-up.

War darts are only a mere shadow of their former glory, since headshotting people doesnt occur as much as before, maybe 1 in 25 shots. Acuuracy is gone.

1 (!) throwing lance = 1 stack taking up 2 slots. Thats a joke. They were a bit op, true, but at least the masterwork version could consist of 2. 
4 throwing spears = 2 slots. Better but still a joke since you need 2 to kill most of the time.
7 war darts = 1 slot. Okay, but most melee wepaons take up 2 slots, so with shield you can still only equip 1 stack. And since you need 4-5 war darts to kill someone, you NEED a shield or are shot before the enemy is kissing my turf.

Masterwork versions strongly need the "large--" attribute as before, why did you remove that??

Now compare that with xbow and bow. How many people will they kill with 15 xbows or arrows? That's why archery is becoming the dominant sideproficiency.

ATM i am nearly 31 and will try out something else.

But there is still light: we hybrids will always be superior to the rest, so no matter how much you will nerf us, we will survive =).

Dedicated throwers should be the hard counter to  armored 2H opponents, whereas archers are for light targets and crossbows take a while to reload. There are lots of examples of dedicated skirmishers throwing volleys of javelins.

Tying the power throw to WPF was kind of silly ontop of the ammo reduction.

Yeah i LOVED Throwing Lances pre patch. Took me mostly 1 hit to kill anyone. Except tincans obviously, and horses was too fun. They just fled at the sight of my throwing lances. Too bad it's nerfed to the ground now ;(
