Cause he was unbanned and proved innocent. Was goretooth.

Nah that was a joke among ATS that spilled out onto the servers, and we spread it around when he had taken a couple week break

However feigning for some reason is near-impossible using my right trigger, while it works fine on other bindings. It just initiates my swing when I try and feign/cancel my swing with the right trigger. Do you know why it does this?

I am not totally sure what you mean by that. With my set up being right trigger to attack(left mouse button), left trigger to block (right mouse button) feinting works the same way as it does normally. ie.. Right trigger to throw a swing, left trigger to cancel it/block.

I suppose this is my problem, I'll try switching my attack/block binds to see if it does anything. Or maybe it was just the program I use versus the one that you used. Anyways. testing now.

Sell controller, buy mouse.

, good luck with your efforts though, I'm sure some people will enjoy it.

To be honest, I've been practicing on duel for an hour now. And I'm starting to get the hang of it, Once I start implementing kicks/nudges etc. Which are actually pretty conviently located I think I can actually start doing pretty well. Still thought. I think a Mouse is better just because of how long I've used the mouse+keyboard. But whatever, it's pretty fun.

so ive been playin crpg for 2 years now: gen 16 lvl 35, never once have I killed someone with a keyboard and mouse. controller is certainly effective for crpg, I think some things are even better with it than a mouse. the key is your right stick sensitivity, you want that basically at max so you can turn real easy.

i think especially new players would like the feel of mount and blade with a controller, it always felt natural to me.

The thing about a high sensitivity on the right stick is that when I block Up for example I lose sight of the guy in front of me and cannot block his swing if he has a follow-up on the way

i mean you have to practice at it, but eventually you'll get the feel down. the thing that always got me was fighting on slopes, it was hard to get the right blocks at an angle, but im fairly certain that is a mouse problem too.

It is.

I think I'm going to continue playing with the controller as it has sort of revived the game for me adding a new and interesting way to play, and master. I've had more fun doing this today than I have playing this game in the past year.

Any classes that work especially well for you? I'm curious to know what to play and not to play.
