I think they reduced the damage because you really didn't need any power strike or WPF in polearms to use a couch only lance.  Now if you have power strike and WPF in polearms, it's going to increase the damage done by these lances.

I usually 1 hit people with the great lance before the nerf, but there against heavy armor and high HP players, I wouldn't 1 hit kill them (especially not if I was on an armored horse, aka slow). 

I personally wouldn't recommend using the great lance now that it's been nerfed, but that's just me.  You're much better off thrusting a heavy lance or lance.

I use a MW Lance....but the MW Heavy Lance isn't that bad (after it was given a little more damage after it got a heavy nerf).  It's pretty bad if you use anything that is slower than 43/44 speed, but heavy lance is still the best weapon for going up against other cavalry (IMO).  But the Lance is the swiss army knife of lances.

Master work lance has nothing to do with real cav anymore its redicules unrealistic shit. acally i woud do it like this:
give every dude who has riding skill like 5 points in shield. what get placed there anyways. and buff the great lance back where it was. you still nervt the heavy lance now you nerfed this one to kinda redicules in my opinion and it feels like you play a children mod right now.

not all couch hits are fatal, if you get hit in the shoulder or arm your character should take alot of dmg but not be 1 hit.

I agree with the changes because you used to be able to couch lance all day and kill everyone as long as you had a horse.  no polearm wpf or PS needed...

acally you woud be not longer have the ability to stand so you cant fight anymore. dead or heavy wounded no diffrence in your child.

fact is you are dead anyway hit by a couching lance. and not many people useing them anyways. so why you feel bad? you get often killed by jousting lances? i dont think so. what for me is more the problem about cav is that there some horse who are still to fast. in reallife there few horses who are a bit faster then other ones. but theayre not that fast as a couser for example. another thing is why heavy horses are so slow....what has this to do with heavy cav ..... so you cant make heavy cav at the moment. becouse the light cav has the advantage by being faster..... so balancing sucks at the moment. and light cav is no real cav for me sorry. acally thinking about quiting this game and the mod when this will not get changed again. i mean you nerf the weapons the horses. what comes next armour? lets make all builds like hetman.....with steelpik and light kujak and everybody looks the same as in chocolate chip cookie germany.
