best crpg build or best crpg build EVER

It's been a grind but being able to get rid of the "You don't have enough wpf" penalty has been a spiritual transformation for me. I'm a better person now.

This is what dedicated throwing is about. No shields. No compromises. No melee.
I want a throwing weapon with an 11 difficulty. 4 slots. One shot. A boulder, or at least a pole with a plate glove on the end. Crushthru. 100b.

I had 13 PT before the wpf nerf, but 11 is still pretty good. I wonder how fucked up my build will get after the wpf overhaul.
I was stuck on level 33 for more than a year so I don't think I'll ever see 35. What should I spend those leftover points on? I was thinking 3 riding and 1 Horsey Archer. 4 PS would be a waste and I refuse to take a cowardly shield

I think with 4WM you should be fine and dandy after the overhaul. I hope. I know it's been a long tough road from 33, but kudos for not giving up on your dreams! Also, no way is 4 PS a waste! I'm not sure how much a difference 1 HA would make personally.
You think you're pretty smart with your dago mustache and your greasy hair.

4 PS is the difference between being utterly incapable of defending yourself in melee (especially factoring in the -15% damage penalty for 1 WPF), and being able to deal enough damage to reliably interrupt your enemy.

3 riding is just a quick way to get yourself boxed in by enemy cav. I don't think I've ever seen a horse thrower do well in battle.

congrats artie.

I remember how GTX mad you were when you hit 33 and couldn't access your 11th PT bonus cuz of wpf, glad you finally resolved it.

You can still do some damage with 4 PS and no wpf just grabbing any weapon lying around. 4 IF never hurts, will help you stay alive longer sometimes. The riding would be fun for trolling.

There have been some, but I think they took a lot more riding and horse archery points than I'd be able to.
I wish I'd saved the points that I put into athletics; if I had those, then I could give myself enough riding and horse archery. Yeah, if I can ever afford a trainer respec, I'll go down to just 2 athletics, then I can have 4 riding and 2 HA. Not gonna retire and start over though, the grind was too long to redo

Finally, Artie.
Riding and horse archery sound alright.
Hooray for customization and hybridization!
Down with monotonous pure classes!

Yeah, but I can either go two and two in riding and HA, or 3 riding and one HA...or I could dump it all in riding and just come to a stop before firing. Most of the good horses are all 5 riding, though, and I'll never get that.
Guess I'll test with a stf :P

Hmm, I heard that throwing doesn't use HA at all anymore, but I read the patch notes and it seems like it's also possible that HA still effects throwing but that now there's a negative penalty to the HA modifier for Xbow only and NOT for throwing.

So there's a chance I don't need any HA...i'll use my stf to try to test and see, take one with no HA...
