Archery Re-texture Mod

Since I've never really liked the yellow bows and arrows that are in cRPG, I decided to retexture them. This is for people who don't use the heirloom pack.

Now I kept the yumi bow and rus bow the same since I thought they looked great, but all others are changed!


Small update : Changed the strings color on the bows slightly so they don't look so yellow and glowy. They are now darker and more brown.

To Install this mod simply download the file, use the installer, and make sure to copy "jarold_archery" resource to your resource folder and the textures to your textures folder.

You may have to redirect the installer to wherever cRPG is on your computer to successfully install this mod.

Love it. I've always thought that the current color for the bows looks too light and sickly.

Nice.

As an aside - How would I go about making arrows, say, bright pink, so I can actually see the flight path of the suckers? I know I read a way to do it, but can't find details anymore :/

Looks good, but the bows shouldn't look so dark, especially the longbow.

Well you would have to replace the texture for the arrows with the color you want. I think you could just delete the textures for the arrows and they will become pure white. But the bows will be white too if you do not do it right.

Another solution is just to get the old native flying arrows back. There is a guide on how to do it here http://forum.meleegaming.com/beginner's-help-and-guides/mods-compatible-with-crpg-(updated-sticky)/

I prefer older version of long bow and bodkins. but this one is also good :D +1

why did you took the old quiver for barbed arrows ?? This one has bad textures :c

This is the only "bad" thing I can find here.
