Ha ha, these 'own goal' threads keep popping up once in a while
Reminds me of that English anti-immigration politician I believe it was, who tweeted something in regards to ads showing (dating sites for Middle Eastern girls) on a Twitter page, not knowing that it was based of his browsing.
You know these ads are adapted to what you're browsing, right?
100% correct.
These are Google AdSense ads, which means they're based off either:
- DoubleClick cookie -- Stores browsing information. Google does not use this for any sort of ads based on race, religion, sexual orientation, or health unless you've given permission somewhere.
- Re-targeting -- If you've visited a website with a subscription/premium/eCommerce, especially if you bought something, you'll keep seeing ads for the site.
- Your Google profile -- In general everything you have in your Google profile, past and present search history, unless disabled, is used to serve you ads.
- The contents of the website you’re viewing -- if it’s part of the Display Network or a Google partner site.
- The types of websites you visit -- if they’re part of the Display Network or a Google partner site.
- Whether you've previously interacted with any of Google’s ads or ad-type features -- Don't click IT
Plus even if it were a marketing/advertisement agency handling the ads on c-rpg.net they would ever use such type of ads for their remnant pool (the last few ads added to a cycle).
The only reasoning for you seeing such ad is if you've either browsed 'love'-sites or dating sites, something with bro2broness
visitors can't see pics , please
register or
loginIf you want to keep your trails hidden, then get some sort of cleaner app, don't let Google store your web browsing history and so on.
privazer.com Free PC cleaner and privacy tool which cleans in-depth unwanted traces of what you've done, watched (videos, movies), downloaded with your PC.
There's plenty other cleaners apps and pretty much all of them work fine the only difference is the scan/clean speed.
In general though all Google and the Agencies are trying to do is serve you ads their system think you would like to see. Nothing that can identify you is ever attached with an ad nor used in supplying ads to you.
