Nomad bow - tatar bow

We finnaly reached the point where low end bows like Nomad or tatar(khergit) are somewhat usefull now, yay!

But when seeing them on the battle field i keep thinking : "god i hate their textures, they look like toys compared to rusbow or longbow"
I never thought about it before but is there a way to replace their textures with natives one ?(imo they are better). Would be awsome if devs could do it (ha yeah i like to dream as you can see).

This could be extended to other bows like normal bow or short bow which also are horrible looking.
Thanks for reading.

replace them with dildos, when archers stroke them very hard a white arrow comes out

There must be a way to change them with native ones, because we can change the arrow flying models. I'll look into it and post it here once I find it.

Find the native models/textures, replace them with the cRPG ones in openbrf
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

I tried this:

(click to show/hide)

"nomad_bow_h1" is the bow model and "nomad_bow_scabbard_h1" is the scabbard model (genius).  I replaced them with "nomad_bow" and "nomad_bow_case" and it became an invisible bow. I think there is no native model anymore, in crpg.

Native models are never actually in mod folders. They are just imported from the main game to the mods.

You have to find the exact name in the commonres folder which contains all native equipment, and name it to what it say it is. I would not recommend using the native models, the bows don't match up with the crpg animations.

I was working on a retexture for the bows in cRPG, to look better. (not a final_boss look though just normal.) However I kinda stopped but seeing as people would want a retexture besides me I might continue.
