So I don't understand bows now. Short Bow does 1 less damage than strong bow and requires 4 less PD and 3 more shoot speed. All it has less is 4 less accuracy.
This kind of thing applies to other bows as well.
So on my horse archer, should I just use a short bow instead since it will cost me much less money and for only 1 PD? Or will that extra damage and required PD on the strong bow make me do more damage with it than the short bow? I don't understand this stuff now... does anybody know?
I POST THIS NOW SO EUS WHO ARE SMARTER MAY SEE THIS WHEN THEY AWAKE.
I read something like this from you before and I think you are missing a part here:
The the damage number on the bow is not calculated with the PD requirement in mind, its the base damage. A shortbow with 1 PD wont do 25 damage, just as a horbow with 5 PD wont do 26 damage.
For shortbow with 1 PD the damage multiplier would be something like:
( 1PD x 0.14 + 1 ) x 25dmg = 28.5
For hornbow with 5 PD the damage multiplier would be something like:
( 5PD x 0.14 + 1 ) x 26dmg = 44,2
everything with wpf/distance/speed/heldshot bonus/malus not accounted for of course.
I have a feeling that this should be pretty obvious and maybe I missunderstood your post but otherwise I cant make any sense out of it.
