This patch is rad, archery got tweaked just right IMO, I'll need to play around with my stf to see how other classes are affected, not to mention learning how to nudge

2 slot is intentional. It's intended to be a lower tier longbow.

What's new with the polearm right swing?

I was so excited, then I got ingame and checked the animation and it still looks stupid as ever  (warband's fault, but it would have been epic to see you guys fix it.)

Is it just faster? or glances/ gets caught on environment less?

feeling from an archer about this patch :
imo it's a bit to much ... i guess devs were sad to have nothing more to nerf so they buffed again some stuff to nerf them in near future... 
after 2 years of nerfing it look like devs dont remember how to buff something so they buff to much ...
buff missile speed for bows was far enough.

+ missile speed increased for bows (it was time.... better missile speed = less ghost arrows)
+ first bows are not useless anymore... same for arrows
+ buff long maul
+ nudge for all

- no brain infantries will cry to much...
- buff xbows = stupidity...
- military hammer and war hammer was op so why buff more ?
- increase speed rating and damage on xbows when pretty all xbows reload like a bow... no logic...
- better missile speed on light bows than heavy bows...got a better speed rating look logic but not for the missile speed, they are suposed to be more powerful

to devs when you think at buff archery, why you  dont take time to ask to some old archers how to buff it ?
i bet you will have to nerf archery again ...

After reading a few pages i saw one of the devs said that Bow got 2 damage more than it should (30 instead of 28). Ok, no problem. But what happens to Horn Bow. Seems like it is pointless to have it with lower damage. I mean i know with horn bow u can have 8pd and with bow u can have 7, but even with 8pd horn would do 55.12 damage while bow at pd 7 would do 55.44.  Same damage? Rly? So not even a fully build archer for horn bow can out damage build for bow... Wtf... Horn bow has far superior physical properties... Yet again "long bow" design is the best in this game while in reality its just mediocre... Ty for making Horn Bow a joke now...
