As I said I would, I have done some more research into this case (among replying to a couple of messages pertaining to this case) and checked the logs and it has cleared a lot up, i.e. made things clearer that I there is no hard evidence of rule breaking.
The_Great_Dictator has been unbanned due to reasonable doubt.
I took a gander at the logs to construct a timeline and as such, it has confirmed my suspicions and provided enough reasonable doubt that I have unbanned the player, I cannot base speculation for banning a player on another players word, no matter who they are.
I've also chatted to two admins about this case as well, one of whom would issue the ban & another of whom had similar reservations of "not knowing what caused the disconnect" as any number of stories could be created for why. (Don't take that the wrong way Teeth, I'm not saying that I don't believe what you've said, I'm merely saying that I cannot back that up with hard evidence, as a rule of thumb I wouldn't take anyone's word for it unless they were an admin, in which case they'd handle the thread!)
At any rate, I believe I made a mistake in banning in the first place before clearing my suspicions fully and despite the ban record of the player, I can't ban on speculation as to what happened. It is against the rules to die, and respawn in the first 60 seconds, but it is not against the rules to disconnect for a legitimate reason, such as a loss of connection or spawning without equipment which are both viable things to happen given the screenshots.
