wouldn't it be much better to buy a normal horse like a courser and be able to buy armor for it so it would be stronger instead of buying another horse, you could put the armor of ofcourse. your horse would be slower less manouver; more charge, more armor. then there would be more diversety in the armored horses also qua same price. and you could also buy heraldic tabards for your horses!

This is something that would require a different horse for each combination of horse+armor.

Unfortunately, not for Warband, maybe in the future, unless they really want to make all those variations. (Same goes for things like wearing surcoats over any kind of armor you want, or armors where specific areas can change color via a swatch pallet, etc.)

However, I kinda assumed that many armored horses were just hunters with armor on, under the assumption that they're the only ones that could have armor that heavy. A courser could have some kind of light armor on it perhaps, maybe the other horses too. It would still require adding a whole bunch of horses to the game. It's just a question of whether or not they are willing to go through the trouble.

Maybe not the "everyone" part, but that would be so nice

The starting horse is a chicken you use as an attack dog. It dies in one hit from just about anything. Buying a horse replaces the attack chicken.

but why would you need a horse for evey armor piece a horse can get? you don't need a different char model for every head armro you wear right?
