The idea of paid duels is not stupid to me. Taking part in a paid duel might seem kind of dumb because the outcome doesn't really matter, but it can be fun or cause drama which this community seems to go crazy for. Putting risk into fights will result in some great duels too, and both sides can learn to be better players. Its like saying tournaments for cash are stupid. Paid duels are like mini tournaments.

People not paying up just spoils it..no one will take part if you can get away with not paying. Nothing wrong with adding a little competition into the game

Duels and gold are cRPG things. What is the difference with say, trading heirlooms for real currency ? I was mainly saying it's morally questionable and that raising awareness about it is nice for the community.

i dont want to get him banned, i just want to find out if hes doing this often and if he can actually back his bets up, if not an official warning or something should maybe put him in check. i fully realise hes probably some kid in puberty.
