Seems to me that even the different sound for arrow impact that we had earlier is the same now for normal hits and team hits. Sometimes really hard to tell, esp. when you shoot at faraway targets.

Notice would be nice, on bad days I would just have to turn off the chat though... ;-)
Hermit Status report : feeling a little social. Threatening melee my old friends with a comeback. Greasing the string of his old longbow. Carving certain names into the tips of his arrows...

Would be good.. Especially when your game lags a couple seconds and you have no idea if you hit someone and on what side they are.

One thing though.. I would want it to be an option which can be toggled off and on. That way I could turn it on when it's a bit laggy

I am in favor of being notified when i teamhit someone. I do it too often on my thrower and usually never know who i hit until i get m'd.

I am not in favor of the negative multiplier though, as nobody starts out pro and everyone has off days.

Not defending myself here, I know I suck at everything. :D

Good suggestion. A fast and easy way to say sorry is also the "QQA" command.

I almost always do QQA when I hit a teammate. It's very quick once you get used to it and can even be done while you are in melee without leaving you vulnerable.
Plus it's green text!

Most people I TW, don't ctrl-m me (and I'm an xbow who ctrl-m's others all the time)... I assume its because I QQA almost every time... maybe its because people aren't ctrl-m naz1's like me.

A notification wouldn't hurt. I like the idea.
Could even add a little coding to have like Ctrl-B to make you say something like "Forgive me, (player you hits name)!" when you hit someone.
