People actually defend 300 ping leechers? Even if they arent leeching, and actually have good equips they still kinda ruin the game because their delay can easily make them teamhit. I've had a couple of "what the, why did he hit me in my back? no enemy is near me. *check scoreboard for the guy* 300 ping ok that explains it."

If your own servers are empty then just dont play, cant be any fun playing with 300 ping anyways. 100 ping is playable, so im not against NA playing on EU or anything, but 300 ping is just silly.

The one time I actually agree with Thomek!!!

Players should be using decent armor and weapons as to contribute properly to the team.  A guy running around naked with a butcher's knife for days or weeks or months is leeching no matter how you slice it. 

But to pick on only people with high ping is very hypocritical, either enforce it for everyone or no-one.  And since I got my reputation butt reamed for suggesting that admins punish "leechers" (who run around with a stick and don't help your team at all), I'd say to leave everyone alone if they have a weapon.

Probably, on the other hand, a guy with 300 ping riding a rouncey, wearing medium armor, and using a sword and a shield who isn't getting many kills or being particularly useful even though he's trying his best sure as fuck shouldn't get banned, banning that guy for leeching is like banning a noob for being bad.

No you didn't. That happened because you suggested peasant gear is reason enough to automatically label someone as leeching.

I'd say to leave everyone alone if they have a weapon. 

A butcher's knife is a weapon. Make up your mind !


Anyway, if kicking on basis of high ping (which has technical consequences for the server because of the lag compensation mechanics) is bad, doing it with equipment is worse.
