Freeze with patch?

I've been quite alot of freezing lately (2 frames being looped), i dont know whether or not the patch has done this, but i dont remember getting it before the patch.

Anyone know what could be the cause?

Im not overheating and i've tried changing the configure options.
My system should be able to handle this game easy, so my hardware is not the problem either.

I have been having the same issue since the patch - it totally sucks! The only solution so far I have found is switching to DX7 mode, which I hate, being so used to the (only relatively) nicer looking DX9. I've heard running at lower resolutions and in windowed mode helps as well.

After playing native for a good hour i can safely say that it is infact the patch that makes me freeze.

Same here. Never had problem before, but now random freeze and crush only on siege servers.
Play couple hours at native and With fire and sword and no problems at all.

I'm also dropping to like 1fps after awhile, and alt tab "fixes" it momentarily.

Same probleme for me. Hd4890 , e8200 , 4go on xp

Joining crpg servers from native seems to work for me, it doesn't load the new faces that way, which is enough to stop the freezing.
