What I like about all the whining about ranged is that it is historrically accurate.
In 1139 in europe bows and xbows were even forbidden in warfare against other christians because they were not knightly weapons. but it was not possible to keep the moral ban up in warefare.
Sir, wut? Bows were never forbidden afaik, only crossbows were first considered non-christian weapons due to how easy it was for a common peasant to kill a nobleman with no training at all.
Or prove me wrong, and give me some stuff to read so I can re-educate myself.
