I made a stf thrower called Nejnarr Lothbrok inspired by the opening scene. Then I realised throwing is hard as fuck.

It's seriously not easy. I don't think most people realize how crazy inaccurate throwing weapons are.

Yeah its fucking nails. Serious props to good throwers. I now rage less when my horsey gets popped

The reason throwers love targeting horses is because they're big. There's like a 60% chance of hitting your target at close range instead of 30%.

Try throwing in siege. The fact that people are much more static, that you can recover ammo easily with all the walls everywhere and that you can spam your throwing junk and respawn to resupply makes it much easier.

Yeah it makes sense. I did the same tbh. Bigger chance of return on investment when you have very few shots. Shame you cant pull projectiles out of dead players and horses though. Amplified as thrower when you have so few shots.

Playing thrower is much funner in a smaller battle server, like EU4. You have enough ammo to deal with around 1/3 to 1/2 of the enemy team most of the time, compared to...what, 1/30th in EU1? In big servers you get to play your class only for a small fraction of a round, then you are just another 1h or polearmer, depending on how many throwing weaps you can loot off the ground.

Vikings has awesome music and is fun if you ignore the terrible history of it. I thought this was a new book but alas :-(  never got into the tv show then again the books started to get a lil dull for me when i realised he kills every main char he can for the hell of it :-P
