Military is not sided with AKP but the head of military is. In a self-proven democracy it should not be a problem, to military to be under control of civil government; but here, we will see.
Grey wolves is not involved with this protests officially, leader of MHP did not wanted his supporters to join. But lots of them are in the streets, sided with left winged groups against this fascist government.
What is really happening is, Erdoğan wanted people to leave Taksim. If you are supporting Erdoğan, each word is a law. So police is doing
everything to force people to leave Taksim's surroinding area. Think of a democracy where you can't use your democratic rights if you are not supporting Erdoğan and his politics. If you can imagine, you are dreaming of 21th century's Turkey
Haven't heard anything about Syrian refugees. By the way, I should say when the Reyhanlı explosion happened, there was not a single Syrian in the area. Coincidence maybe? Or maybe, government knew about the explosion before it happened and did not let them to set their stands as they do usually. Who knows? But it is about another topic.
