Ok good, this means we'll need to put the fields in that direction, to give us a slight kickstart with farming. If you can claim the mine, it would be preferable to do so yeah. Heartfire blocking the entrance will only last until someone can claim it and break the HF.

Feel free to raise carpentry on your char, it doesn't hurt to have more of the same profession rather than just depending on one

Also since you can do leather now, maybe we should start thinking of palisading the place
